Every picture has a story. I just want people to have a visual experience. Basically through my photographs and art work I like to express my feelings my love and passion for life.
My name is Arlene C Santiago, I am 49 years young, I am in love with life and am extremely inspired by my every day interactions! I am a four time cancer survivor living in grace and thanksgiving everyday. I find beauty and peace in nature and feel extremely blessed by God. I feel that as a result of all my life experiences, trials and tribulations, I have gained a greater perspective of the world. Photography and painting became my creative outlets, my ways of healing/coping with cancer and ultimately an extension of my emotions manifested into the physical. I feel deeply moved by photography. When I look into a camera, my heart fills with excitement; the suspense of seeing what I capture drives me further and motivates me to continue in my pursuit. The stillness of life captured within a moment seems incredibly poetic to me, and is another driving factor for my photography. I find inspiration and encouragement taking pictures that make others smile! I see my life as a ball of confetti filled to the brim and ready to burst with explosive color!
