It as been said many times that “A picture is worth a thousand words.” Or “Seeing is believing.” And yet, as Errol Morris implies by using “Believing is Seeing” as the title of his recent book, there are other pathways toward uncovering what we define as “truth.” What we actually record or take in via our senses may have more to do with our readiness to contemplate those aspects of life before us that we can or want to internalize. We derive meaning from specific selected input; something within us must be receptive to a particular constellation of information.
