Our first Macro Shoot Stroll took place at the Metropolitan Museum. After a group introduction and discussing shooting goals for the activity, the group embarked on a mission of finding details in the art of the well lit galleries of the museum. Visiting the Greek and Roman sculpture, medieval armor and Egyptian artifacts, PWP photographers explored details of the items with the idea of searching for ways to abstract and manipulate the scale and story of the objects captured by their lenses.
