Architectural and landscape photographer Jade Doskow is known for her rigorously composed and eerily poetic images that examine the intersection of people, architecture, nature, and time.

Based in New York, Doskow holds a BA from New York University and an MFA in Photography from the School of Visual Arts. Doskow’s work includes, most recently, Freshkills, a major long-term body of work documenting the infamous site on Staten Island which was once the world’s largest household waste dump and is now undergoing a lengthy transition into a major New York City park. She is also known for the series Lost Utopias---a decade-long photography project illuminating the remaining architecture, art, and landscaping of international world’s fairs. Freshkills was recently featured in the New York Times Metro section; Doskow’s work has also been reviewed and featured in Photograph, Elle Décor Italia, Architect, Wired, Smithsonian, and Slate. Doskow was one of 50 women artists featured in the 2018 book 5o Contemporary Women Artists; Groundbreaking Art from 1960 to the Present.

She is on the photography faculty of the City University of New York and the International Center of Photography. Doskow is represented by Front Room Gallery in New York and Tracey Morgan Gallery in Asheville. Doskow is currently an Artist Partner in Photography of Freshkills Park in collaboration with the New York City Parks and Sanitation Departments.
