We are now 200 women strong and growing. The organization is well on its way to fiscal strength and we have just produced our first successful Open Call for Entry that celebrated our 35th Anniversary. How we have grown, from the ideas and ideals of a few women who saw a need to help level the playing field for women photographers, to the robust organization we are now, with internal support systems, networking, workshops, a full program of lectures, a magazine, exhibition opportunities, and state of the art web site. Volume 5 | Issue 3 | October 2010 Greetings from the Board The PWP season has begun and we have already had two exciting programs at our monthly meetings. Anja Hitzenberger was our September speaker who shared her portraiture work with us and L2 gave us great insights into the history of image presentation and a wonderful overview of some of the current ways we have available for mounting, framing and preserving our photographs. Although we have no monthly meetings scheduled during July and August the board and all the committees have been busy preparing for the 2010-2011 season. PWP Exhibitions are in planning as are the speakers for each month and IMPRINTS is being set up for press. We are looking forward to another banner year and want to welcome all of our new members. Volume 4 | Issue 10 | June 2010 Greetings from the Board The PWP Annual Meeting is this week and we look forward to seeing everyone there for Elections, The President and Treasurer’s Reports, Show and Tell and Pass the Mike. This has been a wonderful year – both the Board of Directors and the various committees have been extremely active and much has been accomplished. We truly believe PWP has turned a corner. With great expectations of things to come, next year should be a great year as well. PWP is gearing up for its annual meeting and the year – end show and tell.
